NORTH RED SEA & DAHAB

THAILAND

  • Liveaboard cruise ashore for the famous Similan islands (4 days / 3 nights).

The Similan Islands are considered one of the 10 best diving spots in the world, according to National Geographic. What other reason do you need to see them?

This Cruise takes place on the Deep Andaman Queen Grand. This yacht was rebuilt in 2019 to offer luxury diving trips in Thailand. The boat is 30 meters long and has capacity for 25 divers with 11 cabins, all equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms.
Social areas include a modern air-conditioned indoor lounge, an outdoor dining area where a delicious buffet of Thai and Western dishes will be served.

There is also a huge terrace with a covered outdoor lounge, ideal for relaxing among dives.

The itinerary of this cruise includes the best diving spots in all of Thailand, among others: Similan, the Surin Islands, Koh Bon and of course Richelieu Rock (unquestionably one of the best diving spots in the world)

The marine life that you will find in these waters will take your breath away: huge schools of barracudas, guitarfish, whitetip, blacktip & leopard sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, other tropical fish and... the crown jewel: the great Whale Shark. All this surrounded by a great diversity of hard and soft corals, anemones and gorgonians of various colors, and best of all, with visibility that reaches up to 15/20 meters!!

MALTA

Malta is known as one of the best areas in the world for wreck diving!!
The great transparency of its waters, the numerous bays, coves and sea caves, in addition to the richness of its seabed, where many sunken ships loaded with history rest, make Malta, without a doubt, of great underwater interest.
If you like wreck diving, there is no better destination: underwater warships, old ferries, tugboats and even a giant oil tanker await us!
Furthermore, Malta offers a wonderful mix of ancient charm with vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, ancient cities, medieval fortresses and baroque architecture!
We will stay in one of the numerous farmhouses the island offers, with everything we need to be able to comfortably rest between dives!

What do you need to know before booking your diving trip?

Before booking your diving trip with Odysea, it is important to consider several aspects to ensure a safe and satisfactory experience:

  • Certification and experience: Make sure you have the appropriate diving certification for the intended level of diving.
  • Diving insurance: Check if you need specific diving insurance that covers diving-related emergencies and evacuations. At Odysea we offer you the opportunity to take out personalized diving insurance.
  • Diving equipment: Decide if you will rent equipment at the destination or bring your own. Of course, we can also rent it to you. We can also service your equipment to make sure it is in perfect conditions for the trip.
  • Documentation and visas: Make sure you have all the necessary documentation, such as passport and visas, in order and still valid.

The best diving destinations

Thailand is a destination famous for its crystal clear waters, vibrant coral reefs and rich marine life, with two of its underwater jewels, Koh Lipe and the Similan Islands.

Indonesia is probably one of the 3 best countries in the world to dive, if you are looking for a combination of hard and soft corals and abundant marine life, both micro and macro. The visibility is excellent, and especially Raja Ampat, a diving paradise, where manta rays and whale sharks are practically guaranteed.
