Our inventory includes everything you need for your underwater adventure: from neoprene wetsuits that fit comfortably to your body, to regulators, BCD, masks,fins, boots, gloves, all of them state-of-the-art. All of our equipment is meticulously inspected and properly maintained to ensure your safety and comfort underwater.

Our rental process is simple and accessible, simply choose the day you want to come diving and choose between per piece rental if you only need 1 or 2 items of diving equipment or full equipment if you need 3 or more, we’ll take care of the rest.

You need diving equipment in Barcelona?

Diving equipment is included for all our first-timers and 1 Star Diver (Open Water Diver) courses.
The diving tank and diving weights are also included in all the dives we organize here in the waters of Torredembarra in the region of Tarragona. Therefore you will only need to rent the rest of the equipment when you book a diving trip with us. All rentals are valid for the full day.

Diving suit

The diving suit is an essential piece of diving equipment, because it is designed to protect the diver from cold, abrasion and cuts caused by contact with marine organisms or rock surfaces. Diving suits vary in thickness, we have suits 2, 5 and 7 mm thick, which will keep your optimal body temperature even in cold water. Choose your wetsuit based on the temperature and your needs or let our team advise you. These wetsuits provide thermal insulation thanks to materials such as neoprene, keeping the diver warm and comfortable during the dive.

Fins

Fins are fundamental tools for underwater mobility, because they facilitate movement with less physical effort, improving the efficiency of movement. There are different types of fins, including open heel and closed heel, each suitable for different diving conditions. The fins allow the diver to maneuver with precision, maintain a stable position in the water and deal with ocean currents during the dive.

Diving mask

The diving mask is crucial in providing underwater vision to the diver. It creates an air space in front of the eyes, allowing you to focus correctly underwater. Diving masks are designed to seal tightly around the face, therefore preventing water from going in.
Masks have been a very common source of problems for many divers. They don't fit well on the face, they let water in, they fog up too much, etc. Here at Odysea, we have made a costly investment in superior quality masks, and it paid off, since we have no further problems. So much so that most of our instructors have also fallen in love with these and wear the same ones!

Regulator

The regulator is a vital component of diving equipment that allows the diver to breathe air from the tank at ambient pressure. It is made up of two main parts: the first stage reduces the air pressure of the tank to an intermediate pressure, and the second stage supplies air to the diver on demand, at the appropriate pressure to breathe comfortably. The regulator also includes other devices, such as pressure gauge, hose for the BCD inflator, and the octopus (spare second stage designed to give air to a partner)

Buoyancy Control Device (BCD or Jacket)

In addition to holding the scuba tank, the Buoyancy Control Device, or BCD, is an essential piece of equipment that allows the diver to control his buoyancy underwater. It can be inflated or deflated to maintain a neutral floatability during the dive. The BCD also serves as a surface flotation device, providing safety and comfort to the diver.

Diving Tanks

The tanks contain compressed air or gas mixtures that divers breathe underwater. Generally made of aluminum or steel, They are designed to withstand high pressures, and the Odysea team fills them using our specialized compressor. You can choose between a 10, 12, 15 and up to 18 liter tank, depending on the needs and duration of the planned dive. Every tank is equipped with a valve that connects to the diver's regulator, allowing controlled access to the air supply.
