Scuba Dives
Scuba dives are an unforgettable experience. At Odysea we have an extensive diving program on the Costa Dorada, both for experienced divers looking for new challenges, and for people who have never dived underwater and want to enjoy their first experience.
What is a scuba dive?
A scuba dive is an underwater activity in which a person uses self-contained breathing apparatus to explore the underwater environment. This equipment usually includes a mask, fins, a diving suit, a regulator, vest or BCD and a compressed air tank, which allow the diver to breathe underwater.

Welcome to the first large natural underwater reef created in the Mediterranean in the summer of 2022 and called soon to be the best diving spot in all of Tarragona! This is a New National Park, hence the slightly higher price than the local dive. We are in front of a recently created National Park, which is why the price is higher than the normal dive. The biotope is a project that started 15 years ago and consists of a rock formation made of calcium carbonate (the substrate that forms the skeleton of most marine organisms) where the motto is “return to the sea what belongs to the sea.” This “pilgrimage,” which took months to complete due to the complexity of the process, starts at 15 meters depth and goes down to 34 meters, with more than 40,000 tons of calcareous rocks used (the equivalent of a football field). The dive is suitable for all levels of divers.
This material has proven to be ideal for the creation and colonization of marine life in a quick and effective way.
