This double dive does not leave anyone indifferent, you will see countless schools of seabream and barracudas and of course you will be able to go inside the boat to discover first-hand what it feels like to dive inside a ship that sank 30 years ago!
The Dragonera wreck is one of those places that shouldn’t be rushed. Its size, the sheer number of nooks and crannies to explore, and the marine life that surrounds it mean that a single dive simply isn’t enough.
That’s why we’ve designed the experience as two complementary sessions, designed to allow you to explore it in depth.
On the first dive, we’ll focus on the bow area, where the ship’s structure is particularly well-preserved, allowing us to appreciate its original silhouette. It’s common to come across schools of fish, such as white seabream or bogas, swimming around the wreck, as well as moray eels and conger eels hiding amongst the plates and, with a bit of luck, the odd octopus in the more sheltered areas.
On the second dive, we’ll explore the stern, a different area that’s more open in some places and has more nooks and crannies in others. This is where species such as groupers, sea bass and even barracudas in the open water are often spotted, as well as small details that often go unnoticed on a single dive.
This way, you don’t just visit Dragonera: you explore it thoroughly, get to know it and enjoy it as it deserves.
